Oranges are endowed with natural sweetness, varieties and different uses are the most populous fruit trees in the world. Each orange fruit has over 60 flavonoids (a group of plant metabolites thought to provide health benefits through cell signaling pathways and antioxidant effects) and majority have been proven to possess anti-inflammatory properties and vital antioxidant effects.

There are a whole lot of reasons to show that taking an orange on a daily basis is very important to the body, they are full of nutrients and contain a very low level of calories. They also enhance healthy and smooth skin, they are good sources of body required liquids and reduce risks of getting diseases or just falling ill easily. According to the American Heart Association, eating higher amounts of a compound found in citrus fruits like oranges and grapefruit may lower ischemic stroke risk for women. Those who ate the highest amounts of citrus had a 19 percent lower risk of ischemic stroke than women who consumed the least.

Blood pressure can be lowered by maintaining a low sodium intake and orange is low on its sodium levels but rich in vitamins and minerals; one orange has a range of vitamins and minerals and provides as much as 130 percent of the vitamin C needed for the day.

So endeavor to increase your intake of oranges on a daily basis, because taking an orange for a week is not enough for the body system. Just an intake of a type of fruit is not enough to do the job of that type of fruit.
